objective -4 Security Policy and Procedure Creation
In NTS435 – International and Federal INFOSEC Standards and Regulations, I completed an assignment that applied the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) model to build an iterative security process improvement plan. This project focused on creating a structured incident response cycle that aligns with international frameworks such as ISO 27001. It helped me understand how to evaluate security performance, document procedures, and ensure continuous improvement of organizational security postures.
In NTW440 – Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, I developed a comprehensive Final BCDR Plan that outlined how an organization can maintain operations during and after a disruptive incident. This plan covered everything from data backups and system recovery to emergency communication procedures and infrastructure redundancies. It showcased my ability to create clear, actionable documentation that supports both recovery and continuity.
Together, these assignments demonstrate my ability to create practical, standards-based security policies and response procedures that can be implemented in real-world enterprise environments.
